By setting the default duration of an event you will automatically reserve the right amount of time on the calendar, ensuring you don’t overlap or double book with another event. Here’s how to set the default duration of an offering.
- On the main calendar window click Manage Schedule.
- Click on the Schedules tab.
- Click on the offering you would like to edit and click the Edit button. This will bring up the Edit Offering window.
- In the Edit Offering window click the Schedule tab. In the Default Event Duration field enter the number of minutes the event should be created for.
- Click Close to finish.
NOTE: On the same Schedule tab you have the option to allow staff to create custom events using this offering. If selected, then staff can change the length of the offering on the calendar when adding it as a custom event. If not, they will not be able to add this offering as a custom event or edit its length.
