If a customer hasn’t paid their invoice you have the option to manually add a late fee to their invoice. To add a late fee, you must first create a late fee product you can use to charge to a customer. Once the late fee is created you can add a late fee using the Customer Account window.
- To access the Customer Account window, find the customer in either the Data Entry or POS window and click the Invoice & Payments button.
- Click the Add Late Fee button.
- In the pop up window, you will be provided the default late fee assigned in the settings. You can either use this number or enter a different late fee. Click OK to save.
- The late fee will now be added to the account.
- Click Close to finish.
