Making a document type inactive

If you have a document type that you don’t use but don’t want to delete you can mark it as inactive, hiding it from view.

  1. To get started, in the main Data Entry window go to Manage and select Document Management to open up the Document Management Configuration window.
  2. Select the document type and click the Edit button.
  3. Check the Mark as Inactive button.
  4. Click OK to save.
  5. The document type will now be hidden from the document type list. To view inactive document types, check the Show Inactive box. Inactive document types will display as light gray.
