Choosing a tax inclusive rate hint computation method

If you are using tax inclusive pricing you can add text that explains to your customers the computation method used.

  1. In the Data Entry main window click Manage and select Settings to bring up the Configure Settings window.
  2. Click the Sales Tax/Receipt tab.
  3. Under Tax Inclusive Rate Hint Computation Method select one of the following:
    • Price x tax rate: Example is 5% inclusive tax on $10 equals $.50
    • Price - (Price / (1+ Tax Rate)): Example is 5% inclusive tax on $10 equals $.48
  4. Click Close to finish.
