Not all employees need access to the cash drawer. In the Manage Employees window you can manage what level of access is needed to open the cash drawer in POS, limiting access to employees with only that level access or above.
- In the Data Entry main window click Manage and select Employees to open the Manage Employees window.
- Under Restrictions use the dropdown menu to select the minimum access level required to access the cash drawer. The lowest level of access is Staff. If you select that level, anyone with Staff-level access will be able to open the cash drawer. Anyone with Timeclock-level access will not be able to open the cash drawer using their PIN.
- Click Close to finish.
