Activating replication for the Mobile Dashboard

Before you can use the Mobile Dashboard you must first activate replication.

  1. If you haven’t already, download and run the MySQL Configuration Utility on your server to optimize your MySQL settings to work with Rock Gym Pro. It’s imperative your MySQL settings be properly configured to work with replication.
  2. Check to make sure you are updated to the latest version of Rock Gym Pro.
  3. Next, in the Data Entry main window click Manage, select Maintenance and then select Database Replication. Enable replication by checking the box.
  • Note that for multi-location facilities, this needs to only be enabled at one location. The setting will then be synchronized for all locations.
  • Once replication is enabled, it will automatically begin after the next offsite backup is received by Rock Gym Pro. If you don’t want to wait you can manually transfer an offsite backup.
  • After the backup is transferred it will take about ten minutes to process. Once processed, in the Data Entry main window click Manage and then Web/Mobile Dashboard Access to review your Web Dashboard settings.
  •

TIPOnce you’ve configured your dashboard, you may want to email your private dashboard URL to yourself so that you have access to it on your phone. From your phone’s email application you can then make a bookmark/homepage icon.
