MySQL Cloud storage

Hi,

Would it be possible to set MySQL Data base on a cloud storage? We have lots of troubles with our local database because of all the chalk. We were thinking about hosting the database cloud storage. This would also reduce the fees for the static IP address for multi-gym.

    No, you will not have sufficient performance to your MySQL server located in the cloud. And I can assure you, the cost of a reliable cloud MySQL server will be far more than a static IP :) Typically cloud MySQL servers at Amazon (for example) cost $1000/year or so.

    What kind of local database issues have you determined is caused by chalk?
