Adding an image for message body in the "Email System"

First off, I love the updates. If only all developers were as dedicated to their software as you are!

I am running into a little issue trying to upload an image in my message body for any of the e-mail templates you have set up. I upload, and it doesn't give me any error or confirmation message, but nothing shows up. After a little while of tinkering around, somehow I got the picture files to show up (a million of them, as I was re-uploading a million times), and when I try deleting the files I have the same issue of that screen not updating.
Is everyone having this same issue?

  • Once you added the image to the image library, are you just trying to insert the image into the body?

  • Yes, that's right. My main issue is that the image library isn't updating any changes I make (by "changes" I just mean adding or deleting images). I tried deleting all but one of the images in the library, and still all of them appear in the library. When I try to re-delete them, I get a message that say that the image does not exist.

  • For now I recommend not using images in the emails until I investigate.

That being said, 95% of email clients now block images anyways so it is relatively useless to put images in IMO. It also increases the likelihood of getting marked as spam.
