Performance issues since upgrade to 1.0.61904
Since upgrading from 1.0.60635 to 1.061904 three weeks ago I've seen a significant uptick in CPU consumption. I did perform the MySQL performance tuning that was recommended with that upgrade. Since subsequently upgrading from 1.061904 to 1.0.62286 a few days ago my users are reporting slower performance. They report that other, unrelated activities are performing normally. Are there any known issues with either of these releases? If not, how do you recommend I identify and resolve the issue?

Sorry to hear you are having performance issues.
Nothing changed in any of the releases that would effect general performance.
What did change is once-per-day (on the first machine to start up in the morning) a background operation is performed to generate the membership analysis data.
This operation takes about 5-60 seconds depending upon the size of your database. I would expect to see a CPU spike for that period once per day in the morning. After that all operations should be normal.
Beyond that... NOTHING changed that would impact performance.
One thing to be aware of is that RGP always performs many SQL queries to the database as part of normal operations, and if you are connecting to your MySQL server over a saturated WIFI network, that *will* effect performance. This has always been the case and nothing related to that changed in the update.
When you say users are "reporting slower performance"... what specifically do you mean? What operations? When?
Something else to add....
A powerful new reporting tool was added (Customer Activity Analysis). While this tool is BEING USED it can cause extensive queries to be performed on the database. Thus if a staff member is using that new reporting tool and running queries frequently, I would expect the server to naturally slow down during the queries. This performance hit is happening on the MySQL server and is out of our control.
If this is the case, you might suggest that the individual running these queries limit their operations to less busy times of the day.

Andy,
I'm sorry for the late response. I thought I remembered getting an e-mail when there was a response to my post, but I never saw one so I didn't know you'd answered back.
Clients are all connecting over wired connections, so it's not a Wifi issue. The increase in CPU is so steady and consistent that I don't think it's related to new features. None of our staff are using these new features continuously.
If there haven't been any radical changes in the product, and I gather you're not getting reports of this elsewhere, then this issue is probably unrelated to the RGP upgrade. I'll dig further.
Thank you for your response and your insight.
