Customer type
1. What is the customer type Guest for you? What kind of customer do you apply the Guest type? Do you give a bar code to every person who has a certification or you consider them guest. What Entity means?
Cause we work this way : new customer who do not come for a certification ( and just buy a product like birthday party) sign the waiver than pay the product. But someone who need to pass the certification will get a number, get a certification card and then if they want to purchase a member prepaid card, they will get another card (member prepaid card). But now, I'm wondering what should I do with customer who have a certification, but did not purchase any membership/punch. Should I consider them Guest with or without a bar code?
2. Did you create a field for under 18 years old kid, like a parent name, or person to call in case of emergency (person who may not be a member) or you simply also create a customer for the parent who pay the bill? I'd like to be able to relate a adult to any of my kids who subscribe to a class.

Hello Sophie,
1)All people who are not members or punchcard holders are called guests. Guests may come in often and pay just for the day. Guests may have belay/lead certifications.
Guests usually do not have a card/barcode because they have to pay upon entering the facility, but as I said they can have belay/lead certifications.
These certifications settings are found in Data Entry->manage->settings->customer tab and check the boxes you want.
2)Your second question is two parts: in the data entry there is a spot for Emergency contact- and you can put relationship next to the name.
Next, if the parent is paying the bill, that would be the responsible party in billing. And yes, you would have to add the responsible party in Data Entry. Once they are entered- you would connect the child to the parent in EFT/billing tab.
Hope this helps.
Amy
