Differentiating Membership types
HELLO!
I was wondering if there is a way to differentiate membership types so that discounts are applied as they should be to lifetime members vs. year members vs. lifetime family memberships.
For instance:
For the person who paid thousands to be a lifetime member, they get a great deal on swag and classes, better than your average member.

There is no automated way to have discounts apply for different membership types. If you use subtypes to differentiate the memberships, that label is displayed at POS and can be used to manually apply discounts.
That being said, I haven't heard of this particular request before... that is lifetime members getting a better (and lifetime) discount. From a business standpoint, that arrangement does seem like it could create problems down the road whereby whatever was being offered may be priced in such a way that the better "prepromised" discount is problematic. Just something to consider.
