Courses and regular entry
Hello,
we are opening new climbing gym in Slovenia and we have couple of questions about RGP software.
- What is the best practice to handle entry for kids / adults who is climbing in group with coach?
For example the customer is climbing in group once a week but he would also like to climb by his own another day (he may bought punch card of 10 visits or prepaid membership). What is the best way to handle it?
- Where is the place we can mark the customer that he is attending group or beginning course or clinics?
- There is a Law in Slovenia that every invoice should have a number which is formatted that way: 2013-1, 2013-2, 2013-3... which means year and ascending number. Is there a way to implement that?
- Is it possible to translate invoice and add custom text to it?
Tnx

Some answers...
* For kids that are part of a team or youth program, you have a variety of options. You could create a subtype for them (Settings) and mark them as that subtype, in addition to their normal membership/10-visit/prepaid. Alternately you could use some of the optional policy slots. Within a month or so I do have a new update coming that has a function just for managing these types of programs.
* As for attending a specific course... not sure exactly what you mean, but if you have a fixed set of courses you could use the custom policies as well. Many gyms also have a list of products they sell (for $0 if the courses are free) and sell one of these products to the customer at POS. For instance, if you have a "learn to climb" course and it is free - just create a Learn To Climb product for $0 and sell that to the customer at POS. I'm not sure if this is what you are asking though?
* There is no current way to preprend text to the invoice #. Is this only required for places the invoice # is shown to customers such as receipts? If the scope of where this needs to be displayed is limited to just receipts, emails, etc.... then this would not be a difficult addition to the software that I could consider for the next update.
