Detached/Orphaned Bookings

Andy,

We have had a couple of "detached" online bookings recently. They did not appear in the main calendar but could be found through the customer's profile and in the booking list. Can you tell me how these booking could have become detached/orphaned in the first place?

  • If the schedule is changed in such a way that the event that was booked becomes unavailable. Unless care is used, if someone is modifying a recurring schedule it is very easy for them to delete events and thereby orphan a booking. Or, perhaps the resource availability schedule was changed, and that removed an event...

    Bottom line: someone deleted the event, probably accidently...

    That would make sense. The bookings were made over 4 months ago and we most likely made some changes to the recurring schedule since then.

  • The next update includes a change to make these much more visible, as many are confused by the discovery of these bookings...
