Custom Reports

Is there a way to create a custom report or can you add an option for a report that will allow me to see individual members that have been associated with a class/membership instead of just the customer that purchased said products?

Ex. A parent pays for two kids for a monthly class. It shows up under each child in YPG and shows that there was a payment for two kids under the parents invoice history, but nowhere does it show the names of the kids that the payment is for.

  • Products can have "membership links" associated them require the salesperson at POS to pick WHO the recipient of these memberships are....

The attribute is the "required # of people" when editing a product. If you put a (1) in there it will require the salesperson to associate (1) customer record at the time of sale.

You can then see these membership links in the Invoice and Payments window (there is a tab) for a particular customer.

  • I have them set up that way, but the only invoice and payment information I can find is under the purchasing customer in data entry. I don't see the names linked to the payment anywhere?

  • I found what you're talking about under the invoice info for the linked file. Would there be a way to view that same information as part of a report or under the purchasing customer's invoices?

  • Not really, but with regard to YPG... these links are used to display a complete payment history for each participant of the group... so why the need for a report?

  • I think it will work with the invoice button from YPG. For our record keeping our owner wants to be able to see the participant name, program type, month/day/# of visits pd. for all in one place. Having the membership link tab seems like it should work for her. I'll have her give you a call to explain exactly what she wants if it doesn't.

  • If the owner wants to login and browse YPG herself, setup Google Chrome Remote Desktop. Can't beat free!

Super easy to setup. Free. And then she can go to town on whatever investigation she wants :)
