Transactional email time delay

Is it possible to set a follow-up email to delay some specified time to go out rather than going into the queue for the next day?

Example: We have 1 mo prepaid membership options on groupon. They are rung up by a special product when they are redeemed. I would love to be able to send out a follow-up offer when that membership expires, but only for that specific customer- not all prepaids. Other options include deals for new gear purchases after expected lifespan, etc.

  • No, it is not possible.

    Complex trigger marketing emails are beyond the scope of the transactional email system due to all the different constraints that would be required.

    I recommend periodically using the Customer Queries to produce an email list that you then communicate with via MailChimp or ConstantContant.
