Using Touchscreen as Signature Pad for Waiver Station

Is there a way we can use our touchscreen computers as a signature pad for our waiver stations?

  • Not at this time, and in my experience people don't use the touchscreen portion of this monitor. Nobody "thinks" to touch the screen.

If you are using real waiver stations, get the signature pad. Or use iPads for the whole enchilada.

    hope this helps

  • We've already invested a lot of money getting waiver stations up and running. Was hoping we could use the built-in functionality in the computers rather than dropping an additional $350 at each station for signature pads. What specs or protocols do we need to meet to use something other than the Topaz KioskGem?

  • The KioskGem is the only signature pad supported. The software talks directly to the device via its driver. This is required since the signature pad is delivered raster images with the signing prompts, touch targets, etc. to make the process as trouble free for the customer as practical.

  • Okay, so we've bought the signature pads, I've installed the drivers on my Inspiron all-in-one - but the waiver station still only gives me the option to type my signature. Using the Demo OCX, the signature pad works (and it's lit). Is there a setting I need to change somewhere in RGP?

Since my original driver download, I've also downloaded the 'sign PDF extension' and the '.Net assembly' (and rebooted each time) still with no luck.
