Bar code cards starting with alphabetic characters?
So, I know this is probably a stretch but I thought I'd ask before we re-order.
The guy who ordered our bar code cards ordered code 39 and numbers starting with 1000. Only problem is that he put the gyms initials before the numbers. The scanner scans it in no problem, but then when we click "ok" a window pops up saying that the bar code has to start with non alphabetic characters.
Is there anything we can do, or are we stuck with a box of really expensive bookmarks?

Sorry for the delayed response. I saw your post, but didn't answer immediately because I was trying to come up with solution. And then I forgot to respond!
Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you outside of buying new cards :(
