Does Rockgym Pro need Microsoft Access installed on my system?
Hi all,
We are looking at upgrading our operating systems on our network and have been quoted a price for office 2010 Pro as opposed to Home & Business due to the IT wizzards claiming that we need MS Access in order to run our Rockgym software.
We weren't even aware we had a copy of MS Access on our machines so we are just wanting to check that this is the case?

No, Access is NOT required. MySQL Server 5.0 (not 5.1, not 5.2) is required. You can download MySQL server from within RGP once it is installed.
Very odd that your IT guys would suggest Access, and it is indicitive of them not understanding your needs IMO.
