Is there any literature or videos on the booking email system? Specifically I would like to know if "thank you" and "reminder" emails bypass customer email preferences. Thanks!
They will bypass customer preference IF you check the box on the email action that indicates to always send the email. Look at the email actions in Manage -> Email System.
That being said, there was an issue in the previous version where sometimes those emails were not going out. That has been fixed in the latest version.
