Class - Maximum # of sale
I was wondering if it is possible, in any way to prevent the sale of an item that is not available. To apply a maximum of sale for an item.
I'd like to sale a climbing child course for a maximum of 10 persons. I'd like to manage the subscription of the class with RGP.
But I don't want that my staff have to check everytime if their is space available for that class. I mean, we can do it manually by checking the inventory or keeping track of the sales, but can we apply a maximum # of sale to an item.

The real answer is no, since it's not an actual inventory item.
That being said, you could change the product type to Inventory Single and add restock of 10. Each time one is sold, or before the program is sold, in POS you can click on the item and then click check Qty, this will tell you how many you have in stock.
The problem with this method is now you are responsible for editing the quantity of the program on a weekly basis, without fail or else there will be an inventory problem. May not be worth the headache.
When I worked at a gym, I used to sign them up in a notebook and then take the money for the class. This way it was easy to see if the class was full or not.
Also some gyms use a program, along with RGP, called Bookeo to manage their class sign-ups.
