When doing multigym setups, does the vpn connection need to exists between just the db servers or for all the clients at all locations ?

All workstations must be able to connect to all servers, so it needs to be a network wide VPN.. not a peer to peer between the servers.

Is LogMeIn Hamachi the software solution you recommend to do this ?
It must be a hardware VPN within the router(s), not a software solution on each computer.
What hardware model vpn do you recommend. And why is the hamachi solution not viable ? We really only need the cross gym connections for when members want to check in from other gyms which is actually pretty rare.
We are in the process of setting ours up with watch guard VPN. Our network medics guys recommended it to us.
Hamachi must be installed (and thus managed) on every computer in your network. I personally use Hamachi for my home/work VPN and love it, but you'd be amazed how often it gets accidently turned off and I need to use LogMeIn desktop to turn it back on!
You'll spend far more effort (and thus money) managing a bunch of Hamachi installs on staff accessible computers vs spending a little bit of money upfront for a hardware solution and then forgetting about it!
Sorry, i am not sure about it but my best advice to you that use a good vpn service. There is a vpn review site where is a list of some best vpn providers. You can use any one form the list.
The list is here: VPN UK
To establish encrypted and secured VPN connection you have to download WaselPro VPN software on your device http://www.bestcheapvpnservice.com/best-vpn-p2p/ to be able to bypass your ISP restrictions and get free access to all blocked web content everywhere.
