Billing a Climbing team
Our climbing team consists of kids who either have a prepaid year or an ongoing EFT membership. They also need to pay dues during each of the two climbing seasons (each season is 5 months).
1. For those kids with an EFT membership I am planning on adding the team dues as an add-on
2. Can prepaid memberships have an Add-on without also having other monthly dues? Or would they need to have a $0 dollar dues and then an add on?
3. The team dues are only for 5 months, is there a function to automatically suspend payments, or do I just need to remember to "turn off" the team dues portion of their EFT after 5 payments?
4. I know I can use the youth Program group to help track billing and groups member check ins.

1. Yes, add-on product is correct for billed members
2. Prepaid members CANNOT have an add-on product get billed. Thus you are correct, making them billed members with $0 dues + add-on product would be best
3. You can terminate a member in the future by adding a status with a future termination date... but that applies to the membership as a whole, unfortunately there is no way to have the add-on product removed in the future. So you'll need to remember to undo the add-on product.
BTW, for the prepaid members you turn into EFT members with $0 dues... you can simulate a prepaid enddate by adding a future termination status of their original prepaid end date. Then, on the off chance you forget, their membership will still terminate as it originally should have.
