I feel dumb. I cannot remember how to add/delete/edit the main customer types. I have been going through every menu and am just lost. Someone help me please!
Hello Dandan- To change a guest to a member open the customer's record, and on the first tab you will see the Change Customer Type Button, it's green. That being said, this is a static list. If you are referring to Customer Subtypes, a list that can be modified by you, then go to Data Entry->Manage->settings-Customer tab- is where Subtypes are located and you can modify this list.
The customer type list is fixed because it reflects a customer's method of payment (guest, member, or punch card)... and those "method of payments" are fixed. IF you are looking to add additional attributes to your customers, use the subtype options.
