punch card management
Andy,
To ease the management of punch cards, would it be possible to make punches either go into negative numbers, or not allow a punch card entry (with a warning)when a punch card is used up. Currently it continues to allow the customer to be checked in and just says 0 punches left. If a gym allows the customer to come in anyway and let them pay for a new card next time, it is dificult to keep track of how many punches they have used before they pay. It is also hard to know if that was the last punch or if they are over their punches.

Hmmm, I kind of think it makes sense the way it is now. If they are out of punches, it will ALERT and say "out of punches". Otherwise it won't alert if they are just using their last punch. It only says "OUT OF PUNCHES" when they are out of punches!
As for going into the negative, I think that will only confuse the staff members in the future. If you really want to let someone slide for a day, I recommend just putting a note on their account to this effect.
Thanks Andy,
After playing around a little more, I see that what you are saying. It was a bit unclear to my staff and myself if when it said OUT OF PUNCHES if that was the last punch or they had already used thier last punch. Now that I know I'll pass it on to my staff.

In general, it is always the ALERT or WARNING that matters with all the check in scenarios. If a customer gets a green "OK", then they are good-to-go.
