Receipt printer

HI, Not sure if you can help but my receipt printer has stopped working. It says that it is available and seems to be fine, but when I press print receipt it just flashes up error, but when I go to investigate there is no error recorded and looks as though it should work? Is there a setting I have missed? It was working a few days ago, but I have been 'exploring' the software and may have pressed something I shouldn't.

  • There really is only one area for settings in RGP for the receipt printer... and that is in Settings -> This Workstation.

    You also need to determine if the issue is with the receipt printer or driver itself. You can do this by opening Notepad in Windows and print a small bit of text directly to the receipt printer like any other printer.

  • Thanks,Andy, I'll give that a go because the settings on RGP are all good and still no joy with the printer....
