We are trying to figure out how we are doing compared to other markets in regards to getting first time visitors to return for a class or other service.

I received a very lukewarm response to the idea of collecting automated industry data, and thus couldn't justify the additional development. It seemed people like the idea in concept, but when actually pressed to say if they would submit their data.... many got cold feet. That doesn't mean it won't happen one day, as much of the work has already been done (Reporting -> Membership Analysis). Perhaps this is a good discussion for CWA this year.
