Guest Passes for Staff Members
Hi guys!
Quick question... we would like to give our staff a certain number of guest passes that they can use to bring in family and friends. Our idea was to give them a punch pass with a set amount of punches for the year. However since they are customer type is "Staff" the punch pass option is not available unless we change their customer type to "Punch Pass" or "Member".
We also thought about using the guest pass system but are unsure of how that would work since the number of guest passes per year would be different.
Is there another solution that we are not thinking of? How would you suggest we go about doing this in a way that creates accountability?

We currently give our staff punch passes based on how many hours they work each month. We have been going through the tedious process at the end of each month of switching them to Guest, adding the punches, and switching them back to Staff. I'd like to see RGP allow the Punch Card tab to remain available for Staff.
That is what we are trying to do too John. We are going to give a set amount for full time and part time per year.
We tried keeping track in the notes - but it hasn't been super successful.
We have the same problem. It would be great if the punch pass tab was visible for the 'staff' customer type.
We have tried a few workarounds.
1. Same as John Gross above solution (tedious)
2 Create a new 'punch customer' with the staff persons name and the middle name 'punch pass'
3. Print some 'guest pass' business cards and hand them out to your staff
Non are as simple as just having RGP allow the punch pass tab to be visible….
Message received! It'll be visible in the next update. Literally one line of code to make it visible so I have no reason to argue :)
