Digital Waivers - how do I add a hyperlink to the document?

Hi,

I'd like to add a link to our conditions of use and rules and an induction video on the digital waiver forms, but I don't know how to edit the source code when I'm in the Edit Document mode. I know it can be done because I've seen it done by another wall...
Thanks,

  • Hyperlinks are not supported because it would allow someone to navigate away from the document within the iPad kiosk with no way to return.

Videos are not supported the rgp waiver system. The Smartwaiver service is a separate business (with additional costs) and that does support videos, but it is completely different than RGP. At this point we are just sister businesses not sharing any technology.

I suggest putting your terms and conditions as part of the actual document.

  • Just to clarify- if we decide to use SmartWaiver, this information won't automatically be entered into RGP, only if we use RGP's waiver document editor will the information be directly linked to a customer?
    Thanks.

  • Correct, only the Rgp waiver system is directly integrated and can create customer records.

For what it's worth very few Smartwaiver customers use the video feature. It's one of those things where the idea is good, but the reality isn't great. Customers can't hear the video on the iPads in a busy facility, etc.

  • Thanks, Andy.

We're still going to be creating a bouldering induction video, using text on the screen in addition to voiceover so that it works both in a quiet and busy setting. I'll just have to be a bit creative about the workflow at the kiosk and online!
