Fingerprint Members for entry
If anyone is looking for a fingerprint add on check out http://www.scanandpin.com for their software. Works with windows 7 and 8, don't think it works with 8.1 tho. Acts like a keyboard wedge so you can program what you like against each finger. No need for a card scan as the fingerprint when registered types the data in.

Not sure if anyone has tried this, but I have a few coworkers and members who have worked at restaurants that use fingerprint scanners for employee timeclocks, and they said they had to get managers to re-scan their fingers every week because their fingertips were always getting beaten up or polished from climbing and they wouldn't scan anymore. I also recall reading of a gym in California that had some kind of fancy hand vein map scanner to get around the climber fingerprint problem.
