Report Request: Freeze/Terminate/OK date

I searched the forum for an answer, but I couldn't find anything specific about this case. I also poked around in RGP as best I could with Manager status (not Admin), and I could not find a way to generate this report or create a new report to do what I want.

I would like to be able to pull a report for all members who will be coming off of Freeze status for a specific date range in the future. E.g: "Freeze End Date" between 10/19/2011 and 12/31/2011.

Currently, I can get a good idea of this data through the View => Status Changes menu, but the data is trapped there, and my only option is to print it.

A Customer Query on "Has Status Change" between the same dates in the example above does not pull the same data. Is it possible to query on Freeze End Date?

I can get Admin access if necessary, but I don't want to bug my boss unless I have to ;)

  • Hello John,
What is the goal of your report? Perhaps, there is a different report we can access to reach your goal, as RGP does not have this freeze end date report.

  • John -

What more do you want to do with the data? From the Print Report window you can load the list in Excel?

I guess were confused as to your end goal.

  • Hey guys!

Thanks for responding to my message. We would just like to welcome back members coming off of freeze status with a friendly email. E.g. send out an email on Nov 1st to all members who automatically thawed during the month of October.

Naive me did not know there was another link to export to excel after getting into the print window. For now there aren't too many entries, but for the future is there then a quick way to take these names and get a list of emails? I'm still pretty new to the reporting side of RGP.

  • Hello John,
There is a "has status change" query you could run, and include dates of the status change, and then export it to Excel, sort them on status column. You may have to cross check to make sure they went from Freeze to OK.
There is no exact report in RGP to obtain members who have come off the freeze status, but if you are creative there is a work around.
    Thank you,
    Amy

  • Andy/Amy, I'm trying to do just what John describes above: we want to send an email to those people about to come off a freeze to remind them that it's happening. When I do a Customer Query using "has status change" for our next billing date (or any future dates), it returns zero results despite the fact that there are many customers who have scheduled status changes that will occur. Am I missing something in what you describe above? Or is it not currently possible to query future status changes? This is data we'd love to have access to, so let me know if there's a way to access it.

    thanks,
    Michele

  • Seems you are correct, the HAS STATUS CHANGE does not work for future dates. The query is based on the date the change was ADDED, not the START DATE of the change. Now, looking at it, I'm not sure that is desired behavior thus I may consider correcting this in the future.

I could create a custom report for you that has the information you seek, but it would be a one time charge of $250 to create the report, and then you can use it as much as you'd like.

  • Ok.. I just changed the existing constraint to be "Has Status Change (Added)" and created a new one called "Has Status Change (Start Date)". It will be available in the next public release which will be September along with the booking system.

  • Thanks for looking into it Andy, we'll think about the custom report and let you know...since this may be interesting to others, it'd be great to do it in a way that gives everyone access to it, whether via custom report we pay for or bug fix.
