"Member since..." Date
Hi Andy!
Is there a way to pull a list of current members with the length of time that they've currently been members, excluding any previous memberships they may have had that were terminated?
Currently it looks like RGP records waiver dates, first visit dates, and last visit dates, but we would like to pull some sort of "member since" date. It would help with member loyalty recognition programs for sure.
I know we can setup custom fields for our members going forward and establish one as "member since," but I was hoping there might be a quick retroactive date we could use for our existing members. There is a MEMBERSHIP_START_DATE field in resulting customer queries, but it looks to only be used for prepaid memberships.

No there is not a way to do this at this time.
And storing current member state is very tricky since membership state changes constantly and "time since last membership" may not properly reflect the relationship with the customer.
An examaple: A customer that purchases a one month prepaid, which expires, and then reups a few days later. When did their membership begin? Two months ago? Or one month ago?

We would be pretty strict with the dates for our gym, but I understand that not everyone would choose to do so.
