Yes, all display categories are defined within EDIT PRODUCT for a specific product. To remove a display category, you'd need to remove all references to it on products.

This is an unfortunate Safari bug. Unlike other browsers it doesn't support hiding of select box items. I'll see if I can work around it.

Firefox has the same bug as Safari. And it seems older Chrome browsers do as well (my latest Chrome doesn't do it). Regardless, it's fixed as I avoided the code that was causing the bugs.
