The device needs to be keyboard emulating and produce a number. If it can do that, it can work with RGP. I do know the fingerprint solution mentioned by Nick above is working.

I just added this feature to the latest update I am working on. It needs to be located in Data Entry -> Adv Search for a number of reasons though (barcode confusion and performance).
