What is the RGP + Zapier integration?
Zapier is a cloud-based integrations platform that allows you to automate actions between popular web apps you use every day. With the Rock Gym Pro Zapier integration, you can send “events” to Zapier from specific triggers within RGP. Zapier responds to these events by triggering actions within other applications such as Google Docs, email systems, SMS systems, etc.
This integration does not send all of your RGP data to Zapier. It is an event-based system designed within specific triggers that are built into RGP.
Available Triggers within RGP
- customer.create
- checkin.create
- Invoice.create
- membership.added
- membership.removed
- customer.tag.added
- customer.tag.removed
- customer.contactinfoupdated

Step 2: Creating "Zaps" in Zapier
-
Create a Zapier Account.

The RGP Zapier app is currently available through a private invitation. Use the link below to add the integration to your Zapier account: Access the Rock Gym Pro Zapier Integration -
Create a new Zap.
From your Zapier dashboard, click Create and select Zaps to begin building a new automation. -
Select Rock Gym Pro as your trigger application.
In the trigger step, search for RockGymProSupport and select the Rock Gym Pro integration. -
Choose your trigger event.
Select the RGP event that will start your automation, such as New Customer, then continue. The available triggers correspond to specific actions in RGP. See our RGP + Zapier Integration Event Firing Rules for more information.
-
Connect your Rock Gym Pro account.
In the account connection section, choose to add a new account if you haven't connected RGP previously. When prompted, enter the API Username and API Key you generated in Step 1.
Follow the prompts to authorize the connection.
-
Configure your trigger.
Complete the event configuration, including the facility code if applicable. For multi-location deployments, you can optionally enter your three-letter facility code to filter events for a specific location.
Important: If you use a facility code, make sure it matches the location whose events you want to monitor. An incorrect facility code can prevent the expected events from reaching your Zap.
-
Test your trigger.
Click Test trigger to retrieve sample data from RGP.Select an available test record and continue. This allows you to see the information available for use in subsequent steps.
-
Choose an action for your Zap.
After configuring the trigger, select the application you want Zapier to communicate with.Connect your chosen application and configure the action using the available RGP fields.
-
Test and publish your Zap.
Test the action to confirm the information reaches the intended application.Once you've confirmed the Zap is configured correctly, give it a descriptive name and click Publish.
Important: Publishing your Zap is only part of the setup. You must also activate the corresponding event within RGP, as explained in Step 3 below.
Step 3: Activating events within RGP
Once you've created Zaps in Zapier, you need to activate the events within Rock Gym Pro so they can be sent to Zapier.
To do this, from Data Entry go to Manage -> Settings -> Integrations -> Zapier
Step 4: Reviewing Trigger System Activity Event Log
Trigger events can be tracked within the Trigger System Activity Log. This menu option is only visible once Zapier has been enabled. Data Entry -> View -> Trigger System Activity Log
REMINDER: Review the trigger firing rules documentation
Information sent to Zapier
Almost all the information available regarding an event is sent to Zapier, including customer details, invoice details, check-in details, etc.
The best place to see the available fields for an incoming event in Zapier would be to look at the actual payload sent to Zapier after an event is triggered. To do that, trigger an event in RGP and then look at the REQUEST BODY in the Trigger System Log (see screenshot below).
You can also review the drop-down list of available fields when making a Zap at Zapier.
