Grid Reports allow you to generate custom data from your system. Follow the steps below to run a report.
Step 1: Open Grid Reports
- Go to Data Entry → Reports → Grid Reports (Multi-Location)
- Select a report from the list on the left
Step 2: Select a Date Range (if applicable)
Some reports allow you to choose a date range.
You can:
- Use quick options like Today, Yesterday, This Month, Last Month
- Or manually select a Start and End date
If the report does not require a date range, this section may not apply.
Step 3: Select Locations (Databases)
On the right side, you’ll see a list of locations.
- Check one, multiple, or all locations
- Use Check All / Uncheck All for quick selection
Step 4: Choose How to Run the Report
You have two options:
Generate & View
- Opens the report directly in Rock Gym Pro
- Best for smaller data sets
Generate & Save as CSV
- Saves the report as a file
- Best for large reports or multiple locations
- Recommended when working with large date ranges
👉 See Tips below before running large reports.
Step 5: (Optional) Schedule Report Emails
You may see an option to schedule reports to be emailed automatically.
- This feature is currently in development
- Availability may vary
Tips
- CSV files can be opened in Excel or similar tools for easier analysis
- For large reports, use Generate & Save as CSV instead of Generate & View. Running very large reports (long date ranges or multiple locations) in Generate & View may cause Rock Gym Pro to slow down or freeze.
- If you’re unsure which option to use, start with a smaller test run
