Creating a Yes/No answer with a price for a custom question

If you want to create a yes/no with a price attached, you will need to use a choice list answer instead of the usual Yes/No answer type. You can then make Yes and No your two choices, assigning a price to the Yes choice.

  1. Click on the Schedules tab.
  2. Click on the offering you would like to edit and click the Edit button. This will bring up the Edit Offering window.
  3. In the Edit Offering window click the Booking tab.
  4. Depending of what kind of question you need to create, click either the Configure Booking Questions button or the Configure Participant Questions button.
    • Booking Questions apply to the booking as a whole (example: "I understand our group will need to....").
    • Participant Questions are answered for each participant (example: "Participant t-shirt size.").
  5. Click Add to add a new question, and then with the question selected click Edit.
  6. Enter the content of the question in the Question Display tab.
    • Staff Question Display: This is shown at the front desk
      • Question: The question that needs to be answered
      • Hover Hint: When staff hover over the question, this hint will display
    • Online Question Display: What is shown to customers online
      • Show question online: When checked, this question will be asked to customers online
      • Title: The question that needs to be answered, as shown to customers
      • Description: Additional description/details for the questions, as shown to customers
  7. Click the Answers Details tab and select the Choose One question type from the drop down menu.
  8. Click the Add button to create a "Yes" choice option and price. Click OK to save.
  9. Click the Add button to create a "No" choice option with no price. Click OK to save.
  10. Use the arrow keys to reorder your choices if necessary.
  11. You can also require that the question be answered to make a booking or give it a default value if applicable. Click OK to save the question.
  12. If you are done editing questions click Close to finish.
