Sending a balance to Point of Sale

Once a booking is ready to pay you will want to send it to the Point of Sale system to finish the transaction.

  1. From the main calendar window, double click on the specific event to bring up the Manage Event window.
  2. Select the customer and click the Send to POS button to bring up the Send to POS window. Select Balance Due; the amount that will be charged will appear in red on the left. If you’ve already accepted a deposit for an event like a party you will see that transaction in the Applied Transactions window.

  3. Click OK to launch the Point of Sale system. The customer and the balance will automatically be loaded. If you’ve already collected a deposit, the deposit will now appear as a debit to be returned at the same time the full balance is paid. Proceed with checkout as normal.

  4. When you go back to the booking, you will now see that the balance is fully paid. Proceed to check the participant in if applicable or click Close to finish.
