What's in this release?
Following the release of v1.1.23858, we identified several issues impacting a small group of Cloud-hosted customers. We have moved quickly to correct them and are releasing an update to ensure continued reliability and performance.
Improvements:
- We have updated how configuration options in Data Entry > Manage > Settings are saved. Previously, closing the Settings screen automatically saved any changes made while the screen was open. We received reports from customers who accidentally overwrote important settings when closing the window. To improve clarity and prevent accidental changes, the “Close” button has been relabeled to “Save” to clearly indicate when changes are being saved and the “X” button in the top-right corner of the Settings screen has been updated to close the window without saving changes. This update provides clearer control over saving changes and helps prevent future confusion.
Bug Fixes:
- We fixed a bug that prevented the software from accessing specific file directories it needs to function. This issue caused "access denied" errors for specific file paths.
Most noticeably, this was preventing some users from manually typing in credit card numbers at POS or within customer records. These actions should now function correctly. - We fixed a bug in the Web/Mobile Reporting Dashboard that caused some data views to appear inaccurate or incomplete. While the underlying data in RGP remained correct, certain software actions were not being properly communicated to the Reporting Dashboard. This patch resolves that issue and ensures accurate data display.
