OpenEdge and Encryption Standards

In an effort to provide the highest level of security, OpenEdge requires that your browser have a certain level of encryption enabled.

If you are using OpenEdge as your credit card processor and are experiencing issues with the embedded payment form, be sure to check that TLS 1.2 (an encryption standard) is enabled in your Internet Explorer browser settings.

Enabling TLS 1.2

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on the Gear icon in the upper right corner
