Assigning a register or cash drawer to a workstation

If you want to set up a register or cash drawer you can easily do so in the settings. Note that you will need to set up the register or cash drawer for each workstation.

  1. In the main Data Entry window click Manage and select Settings.
  2. Select the This Workstation tab.
  3. Select the register you wish to assign to the workstation from the dropdown menu.
  4. Enter the cash drawer string, pre-printing string and post-printing string as supplied by your hardware manufacturer. You can test each string by clicking the Test String button.
  5. Check the box to open the cash drawer after every transaction.
  6. Click Close to save your register or cash drawer settings.
