Setting the system to ignore $0.01 dues for family members

We recommend that dues be distributed across all family members so that the proper dues can be deducted if an individual member of a family membership is frozen. However, if you choose to not assign specific dues to family members you can instead assign $0.01 dues to these family members and then instruct the system to ignore these dues. These dues will then serve as placeholders while preventing the system from constantly alerting you that no dues have been assigned.

1. In the Data Entry main window click Manage and select Settings to bring up the Configure Settings window.
2. Click the Memberships tab.
3. Under EFT Dues List check Ignore $0.01 dues on family members. $0.01 dues will now be ignored and not billed. Note that this option only applies to family members, not the primary responsible billing party.
4. Click Close to finish.
