Setting transactions to default to anonymous

By default, the POS system requires your staff to select either a customer or anonymous when creating a transaction. However, if the majority of your sales don’t require a specific customer then you can set the system up to have transactions default to anonymous automatically.

  1. In the Data Entry main window click Manage and select Settings to bring up the Configure Settings window.
  2. Click the Payment & Billing tab.
  3. Under POS check Transactions default to Anonymous.
  4. Click Close to finish.
