If you have a monthly class that won’t have the usual number of sessions because of a holiday, you may want to offer it at a different price to accommodate the shortened series. Here is how to establish a pricing rule that is only effective for certain dates. Remember, rules are processed in the order shown, so put your holiday rules above your standard schedule rules to ensure the system uses the holiday rules for the date.
- On the main calendar window click Manage Schedule.
- Click on the Schedules tab.
- Click on the offering you would like to edit and click the Edit button. This will bring up the Edit Offering window.
- In the Edit Offering window click the Pricing tab.
- Check Offering has a price attached to open the pricing options display.
- First, select the booking product you wish to use.
- Click Add to add a rule
- After giving the rule a name you will want to define the pricing for this rule. Click the Pricing For This Rule tab. Click Add to add the new price.
- Click the Rule Applicability Dates/Days Of The Week tab. Select Specific dates, days of week or times for the event and enter the start date, end dates, time restrictions and the days of the week the event takes place as applicable.
- Click OK to save this rule. Repeat this for any other sessions that will be affected by holidays or closures. Use the arrow keys to put these special holiday rules above your standard pricing rules.
- Click Close to finish.
