Resetting your RGP Cloud password depends on the type of seat you have. There are two types of seats in the RGP Cloud system: Personal Seats and Workstation Seats.
If you are not sure which type of seat you have, Personal Seats are typically associated with one person, while Workstation Seats are typically associated with one shared computer. You can read more about that here: Adding Seats in the RGP Cloud User Dashboard
Resetting the Password for a Personal Seat
Personal Seats are tied to an individual user. You can reset the password in two different ways.
Method 1. Reset your password from the RGP Cloud Client
Use this method if you have the original password and access to the connection profile on your workstation.
Open the RGP Cloud Client on your computer.
Locate your connection profile and click Edit.
Click Change Password.
Enter your current password and set your new password.
If you do not know the original password or cannot access the connection profile, use Method 2 instead.
Method 2. Reset your password from the RGP Cloud Dashboard
Use this method if you do not know your existing password or do not have access to the RGP Cloud Client connection profile.
Go to the RGP Cloud Dashboard login page:
https://app.rgprocloud.net/loginClick Reset my password.
-
Enter your username and email address.
Usernames begin with your organization's five-letter cloud identifier. For example, Bob from the TestCo gyms might have tstco-bob.
If you are unsure of your username, you can view it in the RGP Cloud Client under your connection profile.
You will receive an email with a link to create a new password. Password requirements can be found here: RGP Cloud Password Requirements
Resetting the Password for a Workstation Seat
Workstation Seats are tied to a single computer, and their passwords function differently because they are encrypted and stored locally on the machine.
If you need to reset the password because you are moving the Workstation Seat to a new computer, follow the directions in this support article instead: Moving a Cloud Seat to a New Computer
Otherwise, to reset a workstation seat password, a Cloud Org Admin must complete the following:
Log into the RGP Cloud Dashboard.
Navigate to Seats.
Locate the workstation seat and click the three dots on the right.
Select Edit.
Generate a new one time password.
Important Notes
Workstation seat passwords are always single use because they are securely encrypted on the workstation itself.
Password resets for workstation seats are rarely needed since these seats are intended to stay on one computer.
