Disabling the Persistent Top Connection Bar in RGP Cloud

When connecting to your RGP Cloud environment, you may notice a persistent connection bar at the top of your screen. This is part of a newer Remote Desktop setting and can be disabled to restore the previous full-screen experience.

You can remove the persistent top bar by disabling the Modern RDP toolbar setting in the RGP Cloud Client.

  1. Open the RGP Cloud Client
  2. Click Options
  3. Select General Settings
  4. Uncheck Use ModernRdpToolbar
  5. Click OK
  6. Disconnect your current session
  7. Reconnect to RGP Cloud

 

Once reconnected, the persistent top connection bar will no longer appear, and your session will return to the previous full-screen behavior.
